STAR WARS STUFF Here are some great Star Wars-related titles.
ALL SIX
TITLES BELOW IN ONE GREAT SET - $19.99!
STAR WARS 1978 HOLIDAY TV SPECIAL - This is it! The legendary
show that is the missing link in the Star Wars universe! It aired only one
single time in November 1978, and features almost all the original
cast revising their roles - Mark Hamill as Luke, Harrison Ford as Han, Carrie
Fisher as Leia, Peter Mayhew as Chewbacca, Anthony Daniels as C-3PO, and more!
The plot is, Han must get Chewy back to his family (yes, you meet Chewie's
family!) for "Life Day" and avoid Empire trouble! Meanwhile, guest
stars such as Art Carney, Beatrice Author, Dianne Carroll and The
Jefferson Starship roam around as well!
However,
there IS a catch...The reason The Star Wars 1978 TV Special aired
only once is...because it may be the worst special ever put on television!
George Lucas himself said if he could, he'd destroy every copy of it
in the world! You'll see the actual Star Wars actors try to get through a
horrible script! Watch Han and Chewie in a "touching" hugging scene!
Watch Leia SING the Star Wars theme song! See Mark Hamill look all glam-rock!
Watch Chewie's father Itchy get all excited looking at Dianne
Carroll with his computer "virtual reality" viewing
device and listen to her moan in pleasure and look all sexy
for him as she entices him (it's the very first instance of
"cybering!"). Watch the guest stars make fools of themselves! The
whole show is a mess! But, there are a few cool things about the show. For
instance, Star Wars fans will love seeing these familiar characters (especially
Han, Luke and Leia) in "new" footage, unseen since 1978. Second,
there is a great 10-minute animated segment, where you see Boba Fett
introduced, making this the very first appearance ever of Boba
Fett, almost 2 years before "The Empire Strikes Back!" And
lastly, this show is 2 hours long and you even get the original broadcast
commercials from 1978! Viewers can buy a 1979 Bobcat or seductive wine! However
they do get smart and put a Star Wars toys commercial in there. This is a
program any Star Wars fan will love to see. And the quality is great
considering the rarity and age of this special! This is our best selling DVD,
and for good reason! The Star Wars 1978 Holiday TV Special!

The first appearance ever of Boba Fett was in the 1978 Star Wars Holiday TV Special. You can also see Leia sing the "Star Wars Theme!"
STAR WARS: DELETED MAGIC - An incredible fan-made DVD that focuses mainly on the first Star Wars film from 1977, but has a lot of rare stuff from Empire and Jedi as well. Incredible rare footage of full scenes, alternate shots, missing dialogue, unbelievable behind-the-scenes stuff (especially in between takes), and so much more. A truly incredible collection not to be missed!
STAR WARS 1975 READINGS - You've seen clips, now here is over an hour of the b/w footage done by George Lucas with actors auditioning for the roles of Luke, Han and Leia. Actually see Carrie Fisher, Mark Hamill and Harrison Ford read for the parts! Harrison must have been chosen early because he reads with quite a few actors. Among the familiar names you'll see reading are Perry King, Charles Martin Smith ("Toad" from American Graffiti), Cindy Williams (who laughs at the dialogue), Andrew Stevens ("Massacre At Central High"), Robbie Bensen and more! You even see a 1975 George Lucas during breakdown! Really great extras too on this amazing DVD. STAR WARS CLASSIC TOY COMMERCIALS - About 40 minutes of incredible Star Wars Kenner toy commercials from 1977-1983. Quality is a little less than the usual greatness but still good and fun to watch. Also - an hour of classic Hot Wheels commercials, 1969-1983! STAR WARS SESAME STREET WORKING PRINTS 1979 - Working print versions of two appearances on Sesame Street of C-3PO and R2R2. Also, the droids and Mark Hamill on The Muppet Show 1979!
TURKISH STAR WARS (1983) - With English subtitles! The Turks have been making Hollywood rip-off movies for years, often stealing footage and music right from the original. This Turkish rip-off plays like "Infra-Man" with it's non-stop crazy action, surrounded by footage from Star Wars! Very insane and a total blast.
